Deborah Santema Olthof obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of British Columbia in 2003 and her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Alberta in 2007. While in law school, Deborah volunteered for Student Legal Services, assisting walk-in clients, and for Pro Bono Students Canada, providing legal research for charitable organizations.
As Student-at-Law, Deborah helps clients in a variety of transactions and claims, including completing real estate transactions, drafting and probating wills, preparing trademark applications and making submissions to the Trademarks Office, and pursuing and defending commercial claims.
