Dennis G. Groh, Q.C., obtained his Masters in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 1971 and his LL. B. from the University of Alberta in 1976. His dominant area of practice has been Corporate and Commercial Litigation including wrongful dismissals, commercial lease disputes, disputed land transactions, securities disputes, receiverships, and all manner of contractual and commercial disputes. His practice also included Aboriginal Law and Long-term Disability Claims.

Dennis has appeared before all levels of Court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and a number of its Administrative Tribunals at the Federal, Provincial, and Municipal levels, including hearings under the Canada Labour Code, the Employment Insurance Act, the Canada Pension Plan, Employment Standards Code, Energy and Utilities Board, City Council, the Development Appeal Board, and Law Society Hearing Panels on behalf of lawyers charged with misconduct.

Additionally, Dennis has prepared course materials and taught the Bar Admission Course on Chambers Advocacy. He has spoken to groups of lawyers and groups within the community on legal matters in which he has experience.

Dennis is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association, Edmonton Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and the Edmonton Medical/Legal Society.
