Biography
Erica studied Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta prior to commencing her legal studies. While in law school, Erica benefited from a work term with the Legal Services Division of Alberta’s Department of Energy. She also gained valuable experience in the area of administrative law while employed as secretariat for the City of Edmonton’s Assessment Review Board, a quasi-judicial tribunal.
Erica joined Carr & Company in July of 2009 as an articling student, and plans to establish a litigation based practice with the firm.
Erica is a proud native Edmontonian. In the summertime, she can be found enjoying the City’s River Valley and renowned festivals, while her winters are spent cheering for the Edmonton Oilers.
Volunteer and Community Involvement
Erica was formerly involved in Student Legal Services of Edmonton, where she assisted individuals charged with criminal offences on a volunteer basis. She is currently a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
